Nearly 100 young scientists and researchers gathered at the ALBA Synchrotron Centre in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona, on November 8, 2024, for the In Situ/Operando Characterization of Chemical and Electrochemical Energy Processes workshop.
Here' s an overview of the event:
- Participants explored the capabilities and applications of in situ and operando techniques in different energy processes. Through expert presentations and case studies, attendees gained valuable insights into how these techniques are advancing energy technologies
- Attendees gained practical guidance on a variety of techniques and discovered the unique contributions each one makes to energy research.
- The workshop provided an excellent opportunity for attendees to exchange experiences and knowledge which is essential to facilitate connections among researchers, strengthen scientific bonds, and lay foundation for future collaborations.
- The event concluded with a tour of the ALBA Synchrotron Centre, giving participants a firsthand look at the cutting-edge technologies that drive research at ALBA.
- A big thank you to everyone involved in making this event a success!
